What we do with your details

This site is run by Cole Atchley Fly Fishing. It collects only what you type into one of its two forms, and it is used only to answer you or — with your explicit permission — to publish a review. There is no advertising network, no tracking pixel, and nothing is sold.

What the trip form collects

Your name, email address, and — if you choose to give them — your phone number and preferred dates, plus whatever you write in the message. It is emailed straight to Cole so he can reply. It is not added to a mailing list.

What the review form collects

Your name, email address, optionally your town and which trip you fished, your review, and a photo if you attach one. Your email is used only to reply to you — it is never published on the site.

Publishing a review

A review is only published if you tick the consent box. When published, the site shows your first name, your town if you gave one, the month, your review, and your photo if you sent one. Nothing appears automatically — Cole approves each one. If you would like a published review or photo taken down, email [email protected] and it will be removed.

What the liability release collects

The angler's name, date of birth, email, phone, trip date, an emergency contact, anything you choose to tell us about medical conditions, and — if the angler is under 18 — the name and relationship of the parent or guardian signing for them. You may also attach a photo of a Colorado fishing license; that is optional and the release can be signed without it.

Because a signed release is a legal record, we also store the time you signed, your IP address, your browser, and which version of the wording was on screen. All of it goes into a PDF that is emailed to you and to Cole, and kept on file. It is used for that and nothing else — never marketing, never shared, never sold. To ask what is held about you or to have it removed, email [email protected]. Bear in mind Cole may need to keep a release while any claim relating to that trip is still possible. Signed releases, the licence photo and everything attached to them are deleted automatically three years after you sign, which covers the period a claim could still be brought in Colorado. That deletion is set when the release is stored, so it happens on its own rather than depending on anyone remembering.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are delivered by Resend, an email service. Reviews awaiting approval, and reviews that have been published, are stored on Cloudflare, which also hosts this site. Both process data on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no cookies, and there are no advertising trackers on it. It does measure visits using Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and where they came from without cookies, without a device fingerprint, and without following you to any other site. Nothing it collects identifies you, and none of it is sold or shared.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser does contact Google to fetch them. Live river conditions come from public USGS, Colorado DWR and Open-Meteo feeds, but your browser never talks to those services — this site fetches the readings on its own and passes them on, so your IP address is not shared with them.

Your choices

You can ask what has been stored about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, at any time. Email [email protected] and it will be handled. This site is not intended for children under 13.
